The North Dakota EPSCoR State Office seeks to help improve science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education among middle school and high school students, and to build a pathway for students in North Dakota who are interested in pursuing careers in STEM disciplines.
This ND EPSCoR STEM Education Portal provides access to free curriculum resources for STEM teachers to help them implement inquiry-based learning experiences that engage K-12 students in STEM topics, and that helps to promote the pursuit of STEM careers. The current lesson plans, from ND EPSCoR Sunday Academy STEM modules were developed into lesson by North Dakota teachers.
The STEM education portal is a place for teachers to find free STEM lesson plans that are based on the wide variety of scientific research that is happening at Universities and Colleges all across North Dakota. Each lesson plan lists the applicable North Dakota and National standards.
Would you like to connect with middle and high-school teachers and share information about what you are researching and what it is like to be a scientist? Contact ND EPSCoR at email@example.com to learn how we can connect you with ND teachers to develop a lesson plan to share on the STEM Education Portal.
